Essex Police have charged Gavin Plumb, aged 36, with solicitation to commit murder and incitement to commit kidnap in connection with an alleged plot to kidnap TV presenter Holly Willoughby. The arrest took place on Wednesday as part of an ongoing investigation.
Holly Willoughby, a popular TV presenter, was notably absent from Thursday’s edition of the ITV show “This Morning.” She was reported to be under police protection at her residence on Thursday night.
Gavin Plumb, a resident of Potters Field, Harlow, is currently in custody and is scheduled to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
Essex Police did not officially confirm whether Holly Willoughby was the intended target of the alleged plot.
